In July 2000, myself and Jon Auty ventured into the Czech Republic to visit the set of 'A Knight's Tale', the film from Columbia Pictures. Starring Heath Ledger, Mark Addy, Bérénice Bejo, Paul Bettany, Rufus Sewell and Christopher Cazenove, this comedy/action adventure film is directed by Brian Helgeland. The main studio was in Barrandov, near Prague, but an elaborate Flanders village set had been constructed about 50km from the capital. Arriving at the location was like stepping back in time, a large area had been populated with tents and wagons, all surrounding an extremely impressive wooden castle/jousting arena. Paul Weston had been co-coordinating the stunts, including a lot of horse work in the jousting arena, and we hope to interview Paul for a future edition of  STUNTS magazine.
